KYBELLA
Kybella™ is administered as a series of injections to the treatment area under the chin, destroying fat cells and producing gradual results. Everyone's chin profile is different, so your provider will tailor treatment to you. The number of treatment sessions will vary based on the amount of fat under the chin and your treatment goals. The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.
BELOTERO
Belotero® Balance is a prescription injection that is approved to temporarily smooth out and fill in moderate to- severe nasolabial folds and sunken tear troughs (the folds or wrinkles that go from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth or under your tear troughs). It also integrates with your skin’s tissues. It helps smooth your moderate-to-severe etched-in facial lines and wrinkles. It also maintains normal movement, facial expression,
and it feels natural to the touch.
NEUROMODULATORS
Facial lines appear naturally as we age. Factors such as stress, poor diet, and sun damage can speed up the aging process until deep lines and wrinkles begin to set in. Botox® or Dysport® is a quick 10-minute treatment that works beneath the surface and temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines in adults – to help them look better. Some patients receiving treatment report the injections feel like a pinch. You may begin to notice a visible smoothing of frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines within 3-7 days, with results lasting up to 3 months for moderate to severe frown lines. This is not a permanent treatment. If you discontinue treatment the moderate to severe frown lines, crow's feet and forehead lines will gradually return.
RESTYLANE
Restylane® can be used to add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). Restylane may also be used for lip enhancement.
